Xbox Game Pass Support... Access to 90 Cloud Games
S Pen Latency Reduced to 9ms · Equipped with 108 Million Pixel Camera
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Galaxy Note20 Ultra will be integrated with cloud gaming, allowing it to be used as a 'mobile console.' Users can enjoy 90 Xbox games via the cloud without downloading them. The Note's features are maximized through a low-latency S Pen and a large 6.9-inch display.
On the 21st (local time), German IT media WinFuture reported that Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Microsoft, will support 'Xbox Game Pass' on the Galaxy Note20 Ultra. WinFuture explained, "With Xbox Game Pass, the Galaxy Note20 Ultra becomes a 'portable gaming console.'"
Through Xbox Game Pass, users will be able to enjoy cloud gaming over 5G. They can play 90 games simply by accessing the cloud without downloading them. The Galaxy Note20 is the first smartphone to support Xbox Game Pass.

Earlier, Samsung Electronics' Wireless Business Division head, No Tae-moon, also stated in a contribution posted on the newsroom ahead of the Unpacked event that "collaboration with MS will expand into the Xbox gaming field." Samsung Mobile's Twitter account also hinted at new gaming-related features by showing gaming-related imagery in a teaser video related to the Unpacked event.
The S Pen's latency will also be reduced to 9ms. The shorter the latency, the more it feels like writing on paper with a real pen. In addition to gesture commands, MS's OneNote synchronization feature is also expected to be added.
Looking at the detailed specifications revealed that day, the Galaxy Note20 Ultra features a 6.9-inch Dynamic OLED display. The resolution is 3220*1440 pixels, and the refresh rate supports up to 120Hz. The aspect ratio is 19.3:... The Ultra model is expected to be the first to be equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 7.
The rear camera includes a total of three lenses: a 108-megapixel lens and two 12-megapixel lenses, supporting 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. Based on the model released in Europe, it is equipped with an Exynos 990 2.7GHz octa-core CPU, 12GB of RAM, and a 4500mAh battery. It will be available in two colors: Black and Bronze.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event online on August 5. It is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch3, and more. The Galaxy Note20 will be officially released in Korea on August 21.
