[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The participation period for SK Energy’s ‘SK Oil Pass Season 2’ campaign has been extended by one week until the 29th.
SK Energy announced that this decision was made due to the strong public support for COVID-19 despite social distancing measures.
The Season 2 campaign is being conducted under the concept of “This year, SK Oil Pass is passed to the COVID heroes,” delivering warm support and energy from the public to the “COVID heroes” who are quietly fulfilling their duties amid the ongoing pandemic.
SK Energy plans to revamp the official website so that participation in the campaign can be made easier and faster by requiring only simple information input.
The happiness energy conveyed by the participating public will be included in the ‘SK Oil Pass’ and, along with messages of gratitude from the entire nation, will be delivered in early August to about 3,800 medical staff (doctors, nurses) and volunteers (caregivers, sign language interpreters, etc.) who have worked hard on the COVID frontlines, with the cooperation of the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
As a token of appreciation for joining in delivering happiness energy to the COVID heroes, 1,000 participants will be selected by lottery to receive an SK Oil Pass worth 100,000 KRW. The lottery results will be announced on the SK Oil Pass official website after the Season 2 campaign participation period ends, and the winners will be individually notified and sent the passes in early August.
