[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Sung Si-kyung showcased a mukbang of eating Korean beef jjakkalbi with YouTuber Babgubnam.

On the 18th broadcast of tvN's 'On and Off,' Sung Si-kyung was shown conducting a second live broadcast with YouTuber Babgubnam.

Babgubnam, who visited Sung Si-kyung's home that day, brought the dining table and ingredients all the way from Hongcheon for the live broadcast. During their second YouTube broadcast together, they started preparing the ribs in real time.

In the following live broadcast, Babgubnam grilled the prepared meat on the grill. He explained his unique method of moving the meat to empty spaces when the fire flares up until the oil burns. Once the meat was cooked to a certain degree, the two held large jjakkalbi ribs in their hands and enjoyed the mukbang.

Then, Sung Si-kyung ate a whole Hongcheon onion prepared by Babgubnam. Sung described the taste as "onion apple," saying, "It completely cuts through the greasiness."

Especially after tasting the jjakkalbi, Sung Si-kyung repeatedly expressed admiration without saying a word. The cast in the studio watching the video kept asking about the taste, and he explained, "The tomahawk I had before has less fat and a strong meaty aroma. Jjakkalbi has more fat. That’s what melts in your mouth. It’s so delicious."

Additionally, Babgubnam used a machine he brought to melt raclette cheese. He explained, "Cheese is expensive. One block costs about 500,000 won."

Babgubnam placed the melted cheese on top of the jjakkalbi. Sung Si-kyung exclaimed, "The cheese is so delicious," adding, "Putting something delicious on top of something delicious makes it not greasy at all. The savory oil is mixed just right. There is a primal happiness in eating like this."
