'Korona Confirmed Siblings Attend School' All Students at Gyesu Elementary Test Negative

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] All students at Gyesu Elementary School, where a brother and sister who tested positive for COVID-19 attended, have tested negative in a full school screening.

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 19th, after the siblings attending Gyesu Elementary School were confirmed positive following contact with Songpa case number 60, health authorities conducted a full screening of all students.

A mobile screening clinic was set up at the school, and specimens were collected from 1st to 3rd graders between 4 PM and 5 PM, and from 4th to 6th graders between 5 PM and 6 PM.

All 376 tests came back negative. Faculty and students have been placed under one week of self-quarantine along with remote classes.
