[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 17th that it will hold the ‘Travel Sketch Jeju Air Savings Exchange Event II’ until the end of the year to help local residents, exhausted from the impact of ‘COVID-19,’ plan domestic (and international) trips during the summer vacation.
The ‘Travel Sketch Jeju Air Savings’ is a fixed-term savings product offering an annual interest rate of up to 5.0% in partnership with Jeju Air Co., Ltd., which operates flights at the three major airports in Gwangju and Jeonnam: Muan International Airport, Gwangju Airport, and Yeosu Airport.
The ‘Travel Sketch Jeju Air Savings’ is a fixed installment savings product allowing one account per person with monthly deposits ranging from 50,000 KRW to a maximum of 200,000 KRW. It provides a basic interest rate of 1.0% per annum plus preferential interest rates of up to 4.0% per annum, offering a maximum annual interest rate benefit of 5.0%.
The conditions for the preferential interest rates are ▲0.3%p each for new customers of Gwangju Bank and Jeju Air ▲up to 3.4%p at 0.1%p increments per 200,000 KRW spent using a Gwangju Card for overseas affiliated merchants or Jeju Air online payments.
Customers who first subscribe to the product can receive a 99% discount on exchange fees for up to 200 US dollars at all branches.
Additionally, in partnership with the domestic and international data service Wi-Fi Dosirak, users receive a 15% discount on usage fees, one day of free use (excluding Asia), and an additional 1,000 KRW discount coupon.
Jeju Air members who subscribe to this product and pay 100,000 KRW or more for round-trip domestic flights with a Gwangju Card will receive a discount coupon of up to 7,000 KRW on domestic flight fares.
