[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A single mother in Indonesia has attracted attention by advertising "Buy the house and get a marriage bonus" while putting her house up for sale.

According to the daily Kompas on the 16th, a woman named Meta Kanjul (30) from Bangka Belitung Province listed her house for sale at 18.5 million rupiah (15 million KRW), describing it as 'house + land + wife.'

Meta revealed that she has been living with her four-year-old son since she lost her spouse a year ago.

She added, "I really want to sell this house, so I came up with a different approach," and said, "If the person who wants to buy the house agrees, I am ready to marry him."

Meta also shared a photo with her son, stating, "If someone wants to marry me, that person must have religious knowledge and morals to properly guide me and my son."

After posting the advertisement, Meta's photo and contact information quickly spread through SNS and WhatsApp messenger.

Meta said, "I received a lot of contacts because of the advertisement," adding, "I replied when people asked detailed questions about the house or showed interest, but I ignored contacts with other intentions."

She also stated, "If the person who buys the house does not want to marry me, I plan to move to the countryside and live with my mother."

She said, "I received inquiries from various parts of Indonesia, including Aceh Province and Makassar City, and even from faraway Papua."
