Myung Hyun-gwan, the mayor of Haenam, said, "Haenam mud abalone contains a lot of taurine. He added, "Eating Haenam mud abalone frequently can strengthen immune function and suppress aging."

He also said, "Through the 2020 Haenam Visit Year, we are holding seasonal festivals with unique characteristics, developing and operating themed stay-type tourism products, and comprehensively reorganizing the tourism reception system including food and accommodation."

But abalone was the best for stamina enhancement." He focused on promotion, saying, "After trying Haenam mud abalone on Gukmin Annaeyang TV today, I don't think I will want to eat any other abalone."

Gukmin Annaeyang TV is a rural public interest broadcast that focuses on promoting local specialties without brokerage fees.
