[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Actress Chae Jung-an, known as the 'Nation's Ex-Girlfriend,' showcased her cool charm on a variety show.
On the 15th, MBC's variety program 'Radio Star' aired a special episode titled 'Hey! You Can Do It Too,' featuring Chae Jung-an, Park Sung-ho, K.Will, and Kim Woo-seok.
During the broadcast, Chae Jung-an confessed, "When I was offered a role in 'Coffee Prince 1st Shop,' I was going through the aftereffects of a deep breakup (divorce) and couldn't focus on any project. I declined several times, but the director kept sending love calls. When we finally met once, he said he wanted to cast me after seeing my natural self. I ended up appearing in it, and it became a life-changing work."
She continued, "Recently, my younger boyfriend got jealous of my relationship with a friend and said childish things. Also, I wore see-through clothes on a broadcast, and he criticized my outfit, asking why I dressed so provocatively. So, I told him we should break up."
When Kim Gu-ra asked, "Are you not thinking about getting married?" Chae Jung-an replied, "No, do I want to do it again?" She added, "I have no intention of having children. If there are no children in a marriage, I wonder if it's really necessary to get married."
Meanwhile, Chae Jung-an played the role of Han Yoo-joo, the ex-girlfriend of Choi Han-sung (played by Lee Sun-kyun) in the MBC drama 'Coffee Prince 1st Shop,' earning her the nickname 'Nation's Ex-Girlfriend' and receiving much love from the public.
