"Enjoy a Home Vacation with 'Super VR': New Game and Video Content Added"

Release of 4 Sports Games Mobile Versions and 3 Board Games

"Enjoy a Home Vacation with 'Super VR': New Game and Video Content Added" 'Archery Kings' also released as a mobile game

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] KT has added new games and video content for its personal virtual reality (VR) service, Super VR, in time for the summer vacation season.

On the 16th, KT announced that it will offer four popular Super VR sports games in mobile versions along with three board games. The number of mobile app version contents, which can be enjoyed on smartphones without VR devices, has also been significantly increased.

Super VR’s popular sports games Archery Kings, Bowling Kings, Soccer Kings, and Baseball Kings are now available in mobile versions. Developed by KT in collaboration with VR sports game specialist developer Appnori, anyone can enjoy these games for free by downloading the ‘KT Super VR’ app or individual game apps from the Google Play Store.

The three VR board games (Slot Machine, Poker, Matgo) are accessible after adult verification. KT plans to continue releasing new casual and simulation VR games every month following this new game launch.

Various content such as TV programs and film festivals are also provided. The idol debut program ‘I-LAND,’ currently airing on Mnet, can be watched on Super VR. The 25th Chunsa Film Festival awards ceremony, held as a no-audience untact event, can also be vividly experienced on Super VR.

To ease the disappointment of not being able to travel abroad during the vacation season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, VR meditation healing content Calm&Immerse, set against famous overseas travel destinations such as Italy, the Maldives, and Guam, has also been released.

Park Jung-ho, KT’s Executive Director of the IM Business Division, said, “As untact culture due to COVID-19 becomes the new normal, more realistic experiences and content through virtual reality services are gaining increasing attention,” adding, “KT will continue to expand its VR content lineup so that customers can enjoy and experience even more.”
