Winia Daewoo's Klasse Color Glass Side-by-Side Refrigerator

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Winia Daewoo announced on the 16th that it will introduce for the first time the double-door refrigerator and kimchi refrigerator products from its new family appliance line, 'Klasse Color Glass.'

Winia Daewoo explained that the Klasse Color Glass double-door refrigerator features a color glass design and 2-way LED lighting that considers internal brightness, enhancing user convenience.

The refrigerator's freezer door is equipped with a twist ice maker, allowing consumers to easily make ice. The made ice can be stored directly in a pocket, making it hygienic and easy to detach for cleaning.

The multi-pocket, designed for specialized storage and easy access to cosmetics or dairy products, also enhances user convenience. The vegetable compartment case uses bio-materials to absorb food odors and keep food fresh, allowing for a more pleasant usage experience.

The Klasse Color Glass kimchi refrigerator, released alongside the double-door refrigerator, is a 3-door stand-type product that Winia Daewoo said has enhanced kimchi fermentation, storage technology, and freshness functions.

It features a kimchi ripening mode that creates kimchi flavors tailored to consumer tastes, and a fast ripening mode that ferments freshly made kimchi in just three days. The strong, medium, and weak three-step temperature control function preserves the kimchi flavor and allows for long-term storage.

The smart three-dimensional cooling system circulates cold air every five minutes. Therefore, the cooling units for each storage compartment independently control the temperature, minimizing cold air loss and preventing odor mixing between compartments. Each storage compartment is also equipped with a Fresh Care Solution antibacterial deodorizing system that enhances deodorization.

Moreover, each compartment can freely switch between refrigeration and freezing functions, allowing versatile storage of not only kimchi but also rice, vegetables, and meat, while the specialized storage modes preserve the original taste of ingredients.

This kimchi refrigerator is equipped with a 3-stage rail that allows drawers to be fully extended, a smart cold air cover that prevents cold air loss when opening and closing the door, and a smart case for neatly storing canned beverages, adding convenience.

A Winia Daewoo official stated, “Klasse Color Glass is a lineup developed focusing on the diverse lifestyles of consumers who value their unique individuality,” adding, “We expect it to receive much love from consumers by combining the essential convenience of home appliances with sophisticated and emotional design.”

The 700ℓ double-door refrigerator and 300ℓ stand-type kimchi refrigerator are priced in the 1.7 million KRW range at shipment and are each available in two colors: White Pink and Beige Blue Gray.
