[Photo] Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Signs Business Agreement with Gangseo Police Station and Crisis Family Integrated Support Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) signed a 'Crisis Family Integrated Support Center Business Agreement' with Gangseo Police Station (Chief Heo Chan) at the mayor's office at 3 p.m. on the 15th, initiating support for crisis families in need of care.

According to this agreement, the district will oversee the overall operation of the center, and Gangseo Police Station will dispatch and support Abuse Prevention Officers (APO) to the center.

Following the signing ceremony, an opening ceremony for the 'Crisis Family Integrated Support Center' was held on the first floor of the Gangseo-gu Welfare Support Center.

The center employs a total of seven staff members, including district office officials, police officers, and integrated case managers. When reports of violence or abuse are received through 112, the center provides one-stop welfare services such as ▲case classification ▲counseling and on-site visits ▲service linkage (to child and elderly protection agencies, domestic violence counseling centers, etc.) ▲and follow-up management.

Mayor Noh Hyun-song stated, “Based on a close cooperative system with Gangseo Police Station, we will do our best to identify and support crisis families suffering from domestic violence and child abuse, thereby eliminating welfare blind spots.”

On the same day, prior to the 'Crisis Family Integrated Support Center Agreement,' the district also signed a business agreement with Gangseo Police Station to create a 'Women 1-Person Household SS Zone (Safe Singles Zone)' to prevent crimes targeting women living alone.
