Chairman Kang's Efforts to Secure Budget for School Operation Committee Chair Training

According to Chairman Kang on the 15th, the Jeonju City School Operation Committee Council needs to comprehensively review the support it can provide to ensure stable educational activities for the chairpersons of school operation committees in the city. Since the term of the chairpersons is one year, many people change annually, so alternatives are necessary. The most important issue is strengthening training for educational activities for the chairpersons of the operation committees.

Chairman Kang, who is also the representative of the most famous PNB Pungnyeon Bakery in Jeonju, said, “School operation committee chairpersons play roles in reviewing and approving school budgets and various aspects of school educational activities, but new chairpersons often face difficulties because they are unaware of these circumstances. The council is striving to secure budgets to solve these problems.”

Kim Hee-soo, chairman of the Provincial Council Education Committee, said, “Having previously served as a parent representative, I understand the position of the School Operation Committee Council and the role of school operation committees in the city, so I believe the training budget requested by the council is essential. However, for promotion to raise awareness of the school operation committees or the council, using KakaoTalk or group chat rooms seems appropriate.”

Chairman Kim added, “I will do my best for an interesting composition and role of the Education Committee.”
