CUBox Co., Ltd., a company specializing in artificial intelligence facial recognition, and Tilon Co., Ltd., a leader in the VDI/DaaS market, announced on the 14th that they have signed a business agreement to collaborate on building an AI facial recognition-based VDI platform.

With the COVID-19 pandemic activating remote work and online classes, the effectiveness of VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) has become highly prominent. Traditional VDI made actual work management virtually impossible, making it difficult for companies to fully embrace remote work.

The solution devised to address these social demands is the ‘Facial Recognition VDI.’ By utilizing facial recognition VDI, users can be managed more conveniently and rationally during remote work and online education. The features of facial recognition VDI are as follows:

- Cloud service with 2-factor (ID/PWD + face) authentication

- Recognizes the worker’s face and continuously matches it with the server to determine work status

- System alarm when the worker leaves

- Establishment of a 52-hour workweek system

- Response guidelines for various variables that may occur during work
