[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hong Jae-hee] Gimje City, Jeonbuk, held a meeting with tenant companies in the agricultural and industrial complex to resolve the difficulties faced by business owners struggling due to COVID-19.


On the 14th, according to the city, Mayor Park Jun-bae visited the Hwangsan Agricultural and Industrial Complex Management Office and held a meeting to directly hear the voices of tenant companies and industrial sites.


This visit was arranged to resolve the difficulties of tenant companies and to encourage companies struggling in difficult external conditions such as decreased exports due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and harsh environments.


Before the meeting, Mayor Park visited NCting Co., Ltd. and Shinpo Woori Food Co., Ltd. to listen to their operational status and difficulties and toured the sites.


Then, during the meeting held at the management office, the Hwangsan Agricultural and Industrial Complex Council and tenant companies shared their difficulties and discussed support measures, engaging in communication on various topics.


At the meeting, various suggestions for revitalizing the Hwangsan Agricultural and Industrial Complex were presented, including extension of delivery periods, financial management difficulties, priority purchase of excellent local company products, and manpower supply issues.


Mayor Park Jun-bae said, “Through this meeting, I listened to the voices from the field and fully understood the difficulties of business owners,” adding, “Especially in difficult times, we will do our best to maintain a cooperative relationship between the city and companies so that businesses can gain strength.”
