[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] On the 14th, Heo Seong-mu, mayor of Changwon City, Gyeongnam, inspected the site of the Hyundong Children's Water Playground construction project.

On that day, Mayor Heo thoroughly checked the water play facilities and the surrounding safety management status, encouraged the project officials, and requested that a pleasant water playground be created.

The Hyundong Water Playground will be built on a project area of 2,300㎡, with two sets of combined water play equipment, showers, restrooms, a management building, 12 tent structures, and 20 shade tents installed. The project budget is 1.6 billion KRW, and completion is planned by the end of July.

Mayor Heo said, “When the water playground opens, safety personnel will be stationed throughout the facility to ensure that children can safely enjoy water play, and we will make every effort to manage the facilities.”
