Sangji Kyleum Subsidiary 'Ace Biomed' Establishes Full Domestic Mask Lineup Ace Biomed, a subsidiary of Sangji Kyleum, has established the full lineup of masks, personal hygiene products related to COVID-19 prevention, for the first time in Korea, and showcased them through the '2020 Hotel Show Special Exhibition for Quarantine Equipment.'

Although mask production surged due to the ‘K-Quarantine’ craze for COVID-19 prevention, domestic companies have divided the production and sales of products into different areas such as manufacturing KF series and droplet-blocking masks that require certification, manufacturing general merchandise masks, importing, or OEM manufacturing.

However, Ace Biomed has become a manufacturer with a full lineup by producing Korean technology masks based on the world’s first and best technology, including microcurrent antiviral masks that directly eliminate viruses, as well as manufacturing domestic certified masks such as the KF series and droplet-blocking masks, and general merchandise masks called daily masks.

The company also exhibited Body Shield, a new form of spatial quarantine, which goes beyond the simple concept of sterilization and antibacterial treatment to become a kind of antiviral coating that protects oneself from viruses, presenting a new alternative against the coronavirus.

In addition, amid the distribution of various antibacterial films, the company succeeded in developing a new antibacterial film with immediate and long-lasting antibacterial effects, challenging the antibacterial film market anew, and expressed its ambition to become a leading company in quarantine product technology.

A company official stated, “To compete with imported masks, we signed a supply contract with the largest mask manufacturer in China and have established an imported OEM line as well. Our company is the only one with a full lineup related to masks covering almost all fields, including the distribution of raw materials such as MB filters and nonwoven fabrics. We expect many exports due to high interest from overseas buyers, and recently signed a supply contract for 300 million antiviral masks annually with 13 Mile, so the scale of our business will gradually expand.”
