[Official] Bolbbalgan4 Sues Malicious Commenters... "Severe Mental Damage, No Leniency"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Bolbbalgan4 (Ahn Ji-young)'s agency has filed a lawsuit against malicious commenters.

Bolbbalgan4's agency, Shofar Music, stated on the 14th through an official statement, "Recently, due to baseless false information, malicious slander, sexual harassment, and defamatory posts targeting our artist Bolbbalgan4, the artist has suffered severe mental distress," adding, "We had previously announced that we would take legal action against malicious posts about the artist."

They continued, "Based on our own monitoring and reports from fans, we have continuously collected evidence and submitted a complaint to investigative authorities through the law firm Yosu."

They added, "The investigation is currently underway, and we plan to supplement evidence and file additional complaints. We will take strong legal measures against malicious posts without any settlements or leniency," signaling a firm response.

Previously, Ahn Ji-young had expressed distress over rumors and speculations arising from former member Woo Ji-yoon's departure.

On the 3rd, Ahn Ji-young posted on her Instagram, "Being on the real-time search list all day, facing malicious comments, criticism, and speculative articles," and revealed, "I receive weekly psychological counseling and am struggling with depression."

She added, "I am also a person with feelings," and said, "I no longer want to be an issue because of these matters."

Recently, due to baseless false information, malicious slander, sexual harassment, and defamatory posts targeting our artist Bolbbalgan4, the artist has suffered severe mental distress.
