[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the Future United Party, raised his voice demanding disciplinary action against Yoon Joon-byung, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, who caused controversy by posting a message seemingly defending the late Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon.

On the 14th, Ha said on Facebook, "Democratic Party members who commit secondary harm to the victim, this is not something to be ended with a sloppy apology."

He stated, "Although Representative Yoon left a message apologizing to the victim, compared to the previous day when he praised the late Mayor Park's gender sensitivity and inflicted secondary harm on the victim, even the apology is sloppy," adding, "Yoon's post praising the late Mayor Park's gender sensitivity treated the victim's appeal as a lie."

Earlier, Representative Yoon sparked controversy over secondary harm by saying on Facebook about the late Mayor Park, "He was a person with higher gender sensitivity than anyone else. Through his death, he personally practiced the model of handling the Me Too issue that you longed for," and "It is the responsibility of those left behind to deal with misunderstandings caused by symbolic manipulation of language such as bedroom and underwear."

Ha said, "Yoon's statement that 'he showed a model of handling Me Too through his death' is even cruel. It is a cowardly attitude trying to shift the responsibility for Mayor Park's death onto the victim," and added, "Is it over just by hitting someone and saying sorry once? This is not a matter to be ended with a sloppy apology. Democratic Party leader Lee Hae-chan must discipline Representative Yoon."
