[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 14th that it will provide interest-free installment services to KJ Card individual members until December 31.
For six major daily life-related sectors?large supermarkets, eyeglasses, online shopping malls, travel, auto insurance companies, and auto repair sectors?interest-free installment services for 2 to 3 months will be offered on payments of 50,000 won or more.
For hospitals (including animal hospitals) and department stores, interest-free installment services for 2 to 5 months will be provided on payments of 50,000 won or more.
In the home appliances and furniture sectors, installment fees will be fully waived for 2 to 3 months of payment, and for 4 to 18 months of payment, customers will bear the installment fees for the 1st to 4th installments depending on the installment period, while the bank will cover the fees for the remaining installments.
Kim Jae-joong, head of the card business division at Gwangju Bank, said, "Although the local economy is struggling due to 'COVID-19,' we have launched this interest-free installment service event to support our customers' household finances," adding, "We will do our best to offer various financial events and products to help our customers make wise consumption decisions."
