Park Won-soon's Son's Retesting Claim: Bae Hyun-jin Also Reported for Defamation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] A civic group is filing a defamation case against the late Mayor of Seoul Park Won-soon, targeting Kang Yong-seok, an operator of the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (Gaseyeon), who broadcast content mocking the deceased near Waryong Park where the body was found and near the Seoul National University Hospital funeral hall. They are also planning to file a complaint against Bae Hyun-jin, a member of the United Future Party, who raised suspicions about Park Won-soon's son, Park Ju-shin's military service.
On the 14th, Shin Seung-mok, representative of the civic group Clean-up of Deep-rooted Evils National Participation Solidarity, told multiple media outlets, "We plan to file a defamation case against Kang Yong-seok, lawyer of Gaseyeon, former entertainment reporter Kim Yong-ho, and former reporter Kim Se-ui for defaming the deceased Mayor Park this afternoon at the National Police Agency."
Earlier, on the 12th, Representative Shin posted on his Facebook, "We are preparing to file a defamation case against those who have given up being human regarding the late Mayor Park Won-soon," adding, "I tried to restrain myself until the funeral was over, but my patience has exploded. Now that the phrase 'land of etiquette' has become a thing of the distant past, I hope at least basic respect for the deceased and boundaries are not crossed," signaling legal action.

On the afternoon of the 10th, the day Mayor Park died, Gaseyeon aired a broadcast titled 'On-site Dispatch, the Scene of Park Won-soon's Death.'
In the complaint, Representative Shin claimed that Kim Yong-ho spread false information by stating on the broadcast that "there is more than one victim."
Meanwhile, Representative Shin also plans to file a defamation case under the Information and Communications Network Act against Representative Bae.
On the 12th, Representative Bae posted on her Facebook, "The second trial regarding the military service corruption allegations against Park Ju-shin has been suspended for over a year. I hope he will confidently undergo re-examination and attend the trial to cleanly resolve the suspicions that have long troubled his father."
In response, Representative Shin explained the reason for the complaint, saying, "In February 2012, Park Ju-shin underwent a public physical examination, and the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office dismissed the charges of violating military service law against him. This is an attempt to maliciously slander the deceased by spreading false information."
