[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeonnam (Governor Choi Hyungsik) announced on the 14th that it will recruit 380 participants for the 'COVID-19 Overcome Hope Job Project' until the 20th.

This project was prepared to support livelihoods by providing public jobs to vulnerable groups and to revitalize the local economy.

The Hope Job Project will be conducted in four areas: daily quarantine, public work support, environmental maintenance, and youth support.

The project period will be up to five from next month to the end of the year, and the working period and hours will be flexibly operated according to the type of project and age.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the town or township office of the applicant's address with the required documents after checking the county website.

A county official said, "We hope this will provide temporary help to residents who are experiencing economic difficulties due to the unprecedented economic recession and employment instability caused by COVID-19," and added, "We will continue to do our best to discover jobs and promote support projects to revitalize the local economy."
