Grand Korea Leisure, Public Voting for Excellent Integrity Cases

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) announced on the 14th that from the 15th to the 21st, it will conduct the "Public Voting for Excellent Integrity Cases of the Public Enterprise Integrity Society Council" through the GKL website.

The Public Enterprise Integrity Society Council is a consortium established in November 2018 by 39 major public enterprises including Korea Electric Power Corporation, Incheon International Airport, Korea Gas Corporation, Korea Water Resources Corporation, and Seoul Facilities Corporation to realize a clean and transparent society. GKL joined in 2019.

This public voting will be held for nine cases selected through the first round of member company voting from various successful integrity management cases of each member company: ▲ Introduction and reorganization of a corporate card real-time monitoring system ▲ Real-time disclosure of the national park reservation system ▲ Introduction of a fair contract monitoring system ▲ Introduction of a reward system for whistleblowers on personnel recruitment corruption ▲ Introduction of a construction supervision history system to prevent formation of personal relationships ▲ Introduction of a citizen participation observation system during proposal evaluations ▲ Introduction of a corporate car-sharing system ▲ Introduction of a safe reporting lawyer system ▲ Implementation of a corruption case trial observation system. The final three excellent cases will be selected through the second round of public voting.

Im Chan-gyu, Standing Auditor of GKL, said, "Through this public voting, we hope that the Public Enterprise Integrity Society Council will develop into a council that not only consists of public enterprises but also approaches the public and realizes integrity together with the people."
