The government will hold the "Korean New Deal National Report Conference" at 2 PM at the Blue House, presided over by President Moon Jae-in, to announce a detailed comprehensive plan. Earlier, the government announced the economic policy direction for the second half of the year, stating that it will promote the Korean New Deal to overcome the economic crisis caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and lead the post-COVID era.

Vice Chairman Chung Eui-sun will explain the current status and prospects of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and autonomous driving-based smart cars, which are part of the Korean New Deal projects to overcome COVID-19, at the event. Instead of attending the Blue House event in person, Vice Chairman Chung will present the topic via video conference from his office.

Earlier, on the 12th, Hyundai Motor Company released the "Future Technology Animation Series," showcasing the future of automobiles. The Future Technology Animation Series is a video designed to make Hyundai’s patented technologies, ideas from researchers, and technologies under development easy and enjoyable to understand through animation. The first video in the series introduced the seat-embedded "Hug Airbag," prepared for the autonomous driving era.

Mobile Appliance has selected and developed products such as radar video recording devices, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), and HUD (Head-Up Display), which can serve as foundational technologies for smart cars and fully autonomous vehicles.

While hydrogen fuel cell vehicle-related stocks have surged simultaneously in the domestic stock market, buying interest appears to be shifting to autonomous driving-related stocks, which represent the direction of hydrogen fuel cell and electric vehicles.
