[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Eugene Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that it will hold the ‘Tesla Overseas Stock Event’ until August 31.
During the event period, new customers who open an online (non-face-to-face) account and trade at least one share of Tesla stock will receive a 5,000 KRW Shinsegae mobile gift certificate.
These customers will also have a chance to win Tesla stock. Eugene Investment & Securities plans to select a total of five winners by lottery among new online customers who trade at least one share of Tesla stock and will gift one share of Tesla stock to each winner. Eugene Investment & Securities will also cover the taxes and fees related to the prizes.
Similar to domestic stocks, overseas stock investors can also enjoy a 40,000 KRW investment support benefit for new customers. All new customers who open an online account in July and August will receive 10,000 KRW investment support, and if they trade more than 1,000,000 KRW in domestic and overseas stocks combined within the month of account opening, an additional 30,000 KRW investment support will be provided.
In addition, there is a ‘10-Year Preferential Commission Rate Event (0.08% preferential commission rate for US stocks, 0.2% for China and Hong Kong)’ for online customers applying for overseas stock trading for the first time, and a ‘80% Exchange Rate Preferential Event based on Woori Bank’s official exchange rate (US, China, Hong Kong)’ for customers holding online accounts.
