The proactive administration exemption system refers to a system that exempts or reduces responsibility for officials who have actively handled their duties for the public interest, provided there is no intentional or gross negligence.

The agenda item deliberated at the committee on that day was a proactive administration exemption case applied for in relation to the internal comprehensive audit of the Private School Teachers' Pension conducted in May. In March, the Private School Teachers' Pension established the 'Proactive Administration Support System Innovation Plan' focusing on activating the proactive administration exemption system and has been making various efforts to promote the system.

Standing Auditor Bae Woesuk said, "We will strengthen the proactive administration exemption for losses that may occur in the process of actively performing duties to create a proactive working environment," and added, "We will strive to make audits no longer an obstacle to proactive administration but a catalyst for it."
