SG Industrial Development, a subsidiary of SG, is the designated project implementer for the ‘Eulwangsan I-Pers Hill’ development project. Currently, SG is preparing a large-scale project to develop approximately 800,000㎡ around Eulwangsan in cooperation with the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority into a video, culture, and tourism convergence industrial complex.

As the first project, the subsidiary has launched a large-scale outdoor filming studio business in Eulwangsan. To operate the studio business, SG Industrial Development partnered with Festa Korea to establish a joint venture, Studio SG.

Studio SG, the largest existing outdoor filming site in Korea, opened last May and has since hosted filming for five dramas from KBS, MBC, JTBC, OCN, six TV commercials, and eleven idol music videos across various genres. According to the company, Studio SG has demonstrated the explosive demand for video content production infrastructure and the necessity for new large-scale complex video studios in the metropolitan area.

An SG official stated, “Studio SG is fully serving as the forward base for the Eulwangsan ‘I-Pers Hill’ project currently underway with the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority. In connection with the I-Pers Hill development project, which will become the largest film and drama complex studio in Korea, we will establish a business model suited to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era.”

Meanwhile, the album jacket shoot of Ssaksseuri filmed at Studio SG is scheduled to be broadcast on MBC’s ‘How Do You Play?’ on the 18th.
