[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is hosting the "7th National ICT Smart Device Contest" to discover excellent ideas and support the commercialization of products in the smart device field leading the post-COVID-19 era.
Smart devices refer to intelligent devices utilizing information and communication technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, AR/VR, beyond terminals (devices) like PCs and smartphones.
The contest theme is "ICT Smart Device." Proposals can be submitted for products not yet released to the market, covering various fields such as wearable devices, home/appliances, transportation, cities, factories, agriculture/fisheries/livestock, and public sectors.
Especially this year, as part of proactive administration in response to the spread of COVID-19, devices and ideas for non-face-to-face services will receive additional points.
Participation can be applied online through the ICT Device Lab website (www.devicelab.co.kr) by the 3rd of next month.
The contest winners will be finally decided in the finals held in November, after regional preliminaries next month and the main contest in October.
