[Asia Economy Reporter Seunggon Han, Intern Reporter Seulgi Kim] Yoon Jun-byeong, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea and former Seoul City Administrative Deputy Mayor, stated on the 14th that he had "absolutely no such intention" in response to some media reports alleging that he raised suspicions of a "fake Me Too" regarding the death of the late Mayor Park Won-soon.

In a post on his Facebook on the same day, Yoon said, "Some media outlets reported that I raised suspicions of a 'fake Me Too.' I have absolutely no such intention. I only hope that there will be no further secondary damage to the victim due to fake news and political attacks and controversies."

He added, "I respect the position of Mayor Park Won-soon's victim. Yesterday (the 13th) afternoon, a statement from the victim was released. Although I worked in a space not far away, I did not notice the victim's pain at all. I am sorry," and continued, "I regret that I could not express my apologies to the victim before the deceased passed away."

He further stated, "I hope that the daily life and safety of the victim and the victim's family can be fully restored as soon as possible."

Earlier, on the previous day, Yoon had claimed in a Facebook post, "Since he was a pure and proud person, regardless of the truth of the allegations, he probably felt sorry to those around him simply because he was accused."

He also said, "There was a press conference by the legal representatives of the accuser this afternoon (the 13th), but as someone who worked as the Administrative Deputy Mayor and knows the structure of the mayor's office, there were parts that I could not understand," and added, "It is up to those left behind to deal with possible misunderstandings caused by symbolic manipulation of language such as the bedroom," which sparked controversy.

He concluded, "The deceased walked with the realization of shame, the decision of shame, and a pure death of apology. I hope he can now lay down the heavy burden he has carried and rest in peace."
