'Elvis Presley Grandson' Benjamin Keough, Dies by Suicide at 27 Years Old

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Benjamin Keough, the grandson of the late singer Elvis Presley, has passed away at the age of 27.

According to US media TMZ and other foreign outlets on the 12th (local time), Benjamin Keough was found dead in Calabasas, California, USA, that morning. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed, but it is reported that he took his own life with a handgun.

Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley's daughter and Benjamin Keough's mother, and her manager said that "She is heartbroken but is trying to stay strong for her eldest daughter and 11-year-old twins." They also said, "She loved Benjamin Keough."

Meanwhile, Benjamin Keough was born in 1992 as the son of Lisa Marie Presley and her ex-husband, singer Danny Keough. Besides Benjamin Keough, Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough also have a daughter, Riley Keough.

Benjamin Keough's maternal grandfather, Elvis Presley, known as the "King of Rock and Roll," was loved by the public and left behind classic songs such as "Love Me Tender," "Hound Dog," and "Heartbreak Hotel" before passing away.
