[Today's Weather] Cloudy Nationwide with Rain Showers in Places... Cool During the Day

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On Tuesday the 14th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, but the monsoon rain is expected to mostly stop by the morning.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the rain falling on this day will mostly cease by 9 a.m. in most areas. However, there will be places with rain until late afternoon in the southern Chungcheong region, Gangwon Yeongdong, southern inland areas, and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk.

Expected rainfall amounts are ▲Gangwon Yeongdong 30~50mm ▲Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungnam, Gyeongbuk East Coast, Ulleungdo, Dokdo 10~50mm ▲Chungbuk, southern regions (excluding Gyeongbuk East Coast), Jeju Island, and the five islands in the West Sea 5~30mm.

Morning low temperatures are expected to be ▲Seoul 18°C ▲Incheon 18°C ▲Chuncheon 18°C ▲Gangneung 18°C ▲Daejeon 19°C ▲Daegu 19°C ▲Busan 19°C ▲Jeonju 21°C ▲Gwangju 20°C ▲Jeju 22°C.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be ▲Seoul 24°C ▲Incheon 24°C ▲Chuncheon 22°C ▲Gangneung 21°C ▲Daejeon 22°C ▲Daegu 23°C ▲Busan 23°C ▲Jeonju 23°C ▲Gwangju 24°C ▲Jeju 24°C.

Fine dust and ultrafine dust levels nationwide are expected to be at a 'Good' level due to smooth atmospheric circulation.

A Korea Meteorological Administration official advised, "At airports located on the West Coast and Jeju Island, strong winds may cause disruptions to flight operations, so please check flight information in advance."
