Professor Kang Kyung-gu of Dong-Eui University Awarded Excellent Paper Prize by the Korean Association of Chinese Studies

On the 11th at the Spring Academic Conference, "A Study on the Theory of Religion with Chinese Characteristics Socialism"

Professor Kang Kyung-gu of Dong-Eui University (right) received the Excellent Paper Award at the Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Association of Chinese Studies on the 11th.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Kang Kyung-gu of the Department of Chinese Language at Dong-Eui University received the Excellent Paper Award for his paper titled "A Study on the Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Religion" at the Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Association of Chinese Studies held on the 11th at the Sea Cloud Hotel in Busan.

The Korean Association of Chinese Studies awards the Excellent Paper Award by selecting the most cited papers in the citation information of the academic journal '中國學' indexed in the Korean Citation Index (KCI).

Since its establishment in 1983, the Korean Association of Chinese Studies has grown into a nationwide academic society. In 2014, its journal '中國學' was selected as a registered journal by the National Research Foundation of Korea.

Professor Kang was selected for the "2019 General Joint Research Support Project (3 years)" hosted by the National Research Foundation of Korea and receives approximately 100 million KRW annually in research funding.
