Sinan-gun Ranks First Nationwide in Rapid Local Finance Execution for the First Half of the Year

Selected as the Nationwide 'Best Institution' for 3 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ki-woon] On the 13th, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it was selected as the best institution nationwide in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2020 First Half Local Finance Rapid Execution Final Evaluation.'

The county executed 297.2 billion KRW, which is 157% of the first half rapid execution target amount of 189.2 billion KRW, and 251.8 billion KRW, which is 124% of the consumption and investment sector target amount of 202.4 billion KRW, respectively, ranking first in comprehensive execution rate among 243 metropolitan and basic local governments nationwide, achieving the great success of being selected as the best institution nationwide for three consecutive years.

Since October last year, Sinan-gun has checked and implemented preliminary administrative procedures such as permits, shared property reviews, and land compensation, laying the groundwork for rapid contracts and groundbreaking. They formed a rapid execution promotion team led by the deputy county head, held rapid execution reporting meetings, and made efforts to improve the execution rate by special management of underperforming projects through periodic execution performance monitoring.

In particular, they devoted all efforts to active financial management aimed at stabilizing people's livelihoods and early recovery of the local economy, such as enhancing economic vitality, creating jobs, expanding comprehensive welfare services, and expanding living SOC.
