The Nature Holdings Confirms IPO Price at 46,000 Won... Listing on KOSDAQ Market on the 27th

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The Nature Holdings has finalized its public offering price. The Nature Holdings announced on the 13th that it set the public offering price at 46,000 KRW following a demand forecast conducted over two days from the 8th to the 9th targeting institutional investors.

A total of 401 domestic and international institutions participated in this demand forecast, applying for 87.61 million shares, recording a simple competition rate of 97.21 to 1. The total public offering amount is expected to be 55.2 billion KRW, with a market capitalization of approximately 330.4 billion KRW after listing.

A representative from Korea Investment & Securities, which underwrote the listing, explained, “Among the investment institutions that conducted one-on-one IR, domestic asset management companies focused on differentiated profit growth based on online expansion, while overseas institutions paid attention to global commercialization capabilities. In fact, most of them proposed prices at the upper end of the band, and about 30% of the institution-allocated shares were subject to lock-up agreements. Considering opinions from some markets, a market-friendly price was determined.”

The Nature Holdings achieved sales of 235.3 billion KRW and operating profit of 39.8 billion KRW last year, three years after launching National Geographic apparel in 2016. Despite the impact of COVID-19, it recorded sales of 49.9 billion KRW in the first quarter of this year, a 47.2% increase compared to the same period last year. Its outstanding product planning capabilities, category expansion, and strategic operation of online and offline channels are cited as factors driving its rapid growth.

The public offering funds will be invested in building a new logistics center, purchasing a new headquarters building, and expanding overseas markets. The new logistics center and headquarters will serve as forward bases to respond to the rapidly increasing market demand. The company plans to focus all efforts on expanding the global business of its main brand National Geographic, strengthening the kids line, and nurturing the new brand NFL.

Park Young-jun, CEO of The Nature Holdings, stated, “The domestic market has proven the potential of the lifestyle brand business. After listing, we will strengthen our global market dominance by expanding into global markets such as China, Australia, New Zealand, and India, and develop NFL into a mega brand to leap forward as a global lifestyle specialized company.”

The company plans to enter the KOSDAQ market on the 27th after subscription for general investors on the 15th and 16th.
