Free Movie Day on the 16th: Comedy Action Film
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Buan-gun, Jeonbuk, will screen the movie "Hitman" for free at the Buan Arts Center performance hall.
According to the county, the movie "Hitman" will be shown twice on the 16th at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM. It depicts the unexpected events that occur as Jun (Kwon Sang-woo), an assassin who dreamed of becoming a webtoon artist, pursues his dream. The film offers a variety of attractions by showing a dual life that crosses between live-action and animation, Jun's pathetic reality, and his glorious past.
In particular, the movie features the tagline "The battle of those who use the number of ghosts begins," introducing the characters one by one: Jangseong Mudang (Won Hyun-jun), a master of possessed baduk; Busan Weed (Heo Sung-tae), a persistent high-stakes baduk expert; and Outsider (Woo Do-hwan), a loner who plays deadly private baduk games. Their intense six-person, six-color baduk master showdown greatly raises expectations.
Admission is free for all seats, and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis for those aged 15 and older. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, only Buan residents are allowed entry, so an ID must be presented.
Additionally, temperature checks, self-diagnosis form completion, and spaced seating are enforced upon entry. Since filling out the self-diagnosis form takes time, attendees are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes early.
A county official said, "Although somewhat exaggerated, the movie 'Hitman' is a work that can offer hope to breadwinners who have lost their dreams and live complacently in reality. If you like comedy and action, it is a good film to relieve boredom."
