For Applicants to the Harim Industry-Academia Convergence Major
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonju University announced on the 13th that it conducted an educational program for applicants of the ‘Employment-Linked Aptitude-Centered Talent Development Program’ in collaboration with Harim Group, Harim beSTAR 2nd cohort.
According to Jeonju University, Harim beSTAR (Harim Industry-Academia Convergence Major) is an employment-linked program jointly operated by Jeonju University and Harim Group. Students receive field-oriented education in 21 job tracks suited to their aptitudes and can secure 100% employment with Harim Group after graduation.
This education, organized jointly by the university’s Job Center and Convergence Education Support Center, is a preparation process for the final interview of the Harim Industry-Academia Convergence Major scheduled for the 23rd. Forty-nine students who passed the document screening and aptitude tests for Harim beSTAR 2nd cohort participated.
Participants said, “From preparing application documents to aptitude tests and interviews, the tailored content necessary for the company’s hiring process was very helpful in preparation. We want to prepare diligently for the final interview and definitely pass.”
Jeonju University’s Job Center has continuously supported not only this Harim beSTAR interview training but also various company hiring process needs such as self-introduction letter training, one-on-one face-to-face consulting, and aptitude test preparation education.
The head of the university’s Job Center stated, “In the difficult employment situation due to the impact of COVID-19, Harim beSTAR, which selects talent based on aptitude and provides customized education, is a very good opportunity for our students,” and added, “We will establish an employment support system that cultivates talent with the competencies companies desire and provide related services.”
