Gwangju-Jeonnam First... One-Stop Administrative Processing Linked to Payment Site
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 13th that, as part of proactive administration, it has established a civil service system that allows direct inquiry and payment of illegal parking fines for the first time in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
Until now, details of illegal parking enforcement or violation locations could only be confirmed through telephone consultations.
Through the newly established system, civil petitioners can directly check related information, and one-stop administrative processing such as bank transfer and card payment through linkage with the payment site has also become possible.
In addition, the statement of opinion and objection procedures, which were only possible by visit or fax, have been conveniently made available through the website.
The parking enforcement civil service system can be used through the Seo-gu Office website and mobile web after identity verification, and only vehicles registered under the user's name can be inquired.
A Seo-gu official said, “Through the establishment of this system, we expect to eliminate the inconvenience of waiting for telephone consultations by civil petitioners and improve issues related to receiving registered mail, thereby enhancing convenience,” adding, “We will continue to discover and develop taxpayer convenience policies suitable for the mobile era.”
