Gyeongju City Opens 4 Beaches Simultaneously... Entry Only for Wristband Wearers

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 13th that it simultaneously opened four beaches in the area on the 10th.

At the four beaches?Oryu Goara Beach, Najung Fine Sand Beach, Bonggil Daewangam Beach, and Gwansung Pine Forest Beach?31 safety personnel with lifeguard certifications and 4 first aid personnel certified in CPR and emergency treatment were deployed.

Gyeongju City, following the government's "Beach Operation Response Guidelines" to prevent the spread of COVID-19, installed shade tents at intervals of more than 2 meters and operates a separate tent installation zone.

Additionally, entry points are controlled, and at each main route, temperature checks and personal information recording are conducted. Only those without abnormalities are allowed to enter wearing wristbands. Those without wristbands are restricted from using multi-use facilities (showers, shade tent rentals, etc.) as well as nearby stores.

A Gyeongju city official stated, "We are thoroughly preventing COVID-19 by frequently broadcasting compliance guidelines such as wearing masks and social distancing on the sandy beach using broadcasting equipment."
