Netmarble Secures 28 Games in Top 100 Worldwide App Market Revenue Rankings


[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Netmarble announced on the 13th that 28 of its games ranked within the top 100 in sales on global application markets.


According to mobile app market analysis site App Annie, Netmarble placed 10 of its games within the top 100 sales on the Apple App Store in 96 out of 152 countries. On Google Play, 8 games ranked within the top 100 sales in 91 countries.


Including games from Netmarble's North American subsidiaries Kabam and Jam City, the numbers increase further. On the App Store, 26 games ranked in the top 100 sales across 144 countries, and on Google Play, 16 games ranked in the top 100 sales across 100 countries. On average, 2.6 games per region on the App Store and 3 games on Google Play were included in the top 100. Combining both major app markets, the total number of games reached 28.


By game, "The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross," globally released in March this year, ranked within the top 100 in 63 countries on the App Store and 82 countries on Google Play. Netmarble's long-running game "Marvel Future Fight" ranked in the top 100 in 32 countries on the App Store and 35 countries on Google Play. Kabam, Netmarble's North American subsidiary, placed "Marvel All-Star Battle" within the top 100 in 116 countries on the App Store and 94 countries on Google Play.


Netmarble and its subsidiaries plan to accelerate their global market strategy in the second half of the year with various new releases. Netmarble plans to launch "BTS Universe Story," based on BTS, the battle royale MMORPG "A3: Still Alive," and "Seven Knights Time Wonder," among others.


Kabam is preparing to release the real-time mobile action RPG "Marvel Realm of Champions" in the fourth quarter, and Jam City is developing "Disney Mirror Guardians," a game based on Disney intellectual property (IP).
