Providing Integrated Online and Offline Training Programs through Microlearning Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Korea Productivity Center announced on the 13th that it has launched 'KPC Gwanghwamun Class,' a dedicated microlearning service to support timely learning for employees.
KPC Gwanghwamun Class is a digital library offering 1,800 pieces of content, each around 10 minutes long, covering job skills, leadership, and general knowledge. The content is divided into nine categories: Management Accounting, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, IT & PM, Production & Quality, Purchasing & Logistics, Hierarchy & Leadership, Business Skills, and Humanities & Trends.
The service provides 78 series and over 1,800 pieces of content, including Cinema Game Theory learned from movies and Storytelling in HR Management. In September, 10 new series and about 300 additional contents, such as Smart Factory and ICT Knowledge Cube, will be added. To commemorate the launch, KPC Gwanghwamun Class will offer 30 free content pieces to all visitors, providing an opportunity to experience the microlearning service.
A representative from the Korea Productivity Center stated, “Through the launch of the microlearning service, we plan to support timely learning for employees in the untact era and provide integrated online and offline education programs by linking with existing offline courses.” He added, “We expect to realize a superior customized learning environment based on individual employees’ interests and learning experiences.”
