Expanded Space and Advanced Features Applied... Kia Motors Unveils Interior of 4th Generation Carnival

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia Motors unveiled the interior design and key convenience features of the 4th generation Carnival on the 13th.

Kia described the interior design concept of the 4th generation Carnival as "infinite space utilization." The interior is inspired by a spaceship, creating a futuristic and advanced space, characterized by a premium interior that feels comfortable and spacious, along with various convenience features that satisfy both the driver and passengers.

The driver's seat features a panoramic display integrating a 12.3-inch cluster (instrument panel) and a 12.3-inch navigation screen to enhance visibility and convenience. The center fascia buttons are implemented with a touch interface, combining a sleek design with easy operation. In particular, the slim air vent integrated metal garnish running horizontally across the center of the crash pad and the wood garnish below emphasize a sense of luxury.

Significant changes were also made to the passenger space in the 4th generation Carnival. First, the second-row seats are equipped with "Premium Relaxation Seats," which provide the most comfortable posture for occupants. With the press of a single button, the Premium Relaxation Seats create a posture that feels like floating in a zero-gravity space, reducing the load concentrated on the hips and waist and alleviating fatigue.

Additionally, for second-row users, an extended center console was applied, expanding the space from 3 liters to 5.5 liters. Users can easily pull it out like a drawer from the bottom of the console box when needed, and the upper part of the storage space can be used as a table for picnics or leisure activities.

The dimensions of the 4th generation Carnival are 5155mm in length, 1995mm in width, 1740mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3090mm. Compared to the previous model, the length increased by 40mm, the width by 10mm, and the wheelbase by 30mm.

A Kia official stated, "The 4th generation Carnival offers not only spacious and comfortable space but also differentiated convenience with the best advanced new technologies in its class," adding, "The newly designed futuristic interior will appeal attractively to both drivers and families."
