LG Electronics unveiled a large outdoor advertisement for LG OLED TV measuring 66m wide and 8.6m high in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong's largest bustling district.
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 13th that it has unveiled a large outdoor advertisement for LG OLED TV in Hong Kong's busiest shopping district, Causeway Bay.
The advertisement measures 66 meters wide and 8.6 meters high. The horizontal length of the ad on the building's exterior wall is longer than lining up 45 units of the 65-inch LG OLED TV side by side, and the total area is larger than a basketball court.
LG Electronics explained that it recently installed the large outdoor advertisement in Causeway Bay, a shopping mall and department store-dense area in Hong Kong, to coincide with the launch of the LG OLED Gallery TV.
The LG OLED Gallery TV, based on the 65-inch model, has a thickness of less than 20mm and integrates the screen, driving components, speakers, and wall-mount parts all in one. Without the need for external devices, the entire TV fits flush against the wall. Among this year's new OLED TV models, the 77/65/55GX models and the 77ZX model feature the Gallery design.
Positive reviews from overseas media for the LG OLED Gallery TV continue. The U.S. review magazine Gear Patrol selected the LG OLED Gallery TV as one of the 10 most beautiful products of the year. The magazine stated, "If consumers pay a high price for a TV, the product must be extremely beautiful and have perfect picture quality, and the LG OLED TV meets almost all of these criteria."
Additionally, the leading UK AV media outlet What Hi-Fi? named the LG OLED Gallery TV as one of the best Dolby Vision TVs of the year, highlighting reasons to purchase such as "natural images," "excellent motion and black expression," and "beautiful design."
Lee Sang-bong, head of LG Electronics Hong Kong branch, said, "We will continue to solidify our OLED leadership by promoting the LG OLED Gallery TV, which combines overwhelming picture quality and innovative design."
