[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] At around 7:20 a.m. on the 13th, the doors of a train stopped at Konkuk University Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 malfunctioned, causing a temporary suspension of service.
Seoul Metro explained that there was an issue with opening the train doors upon arrival at the platform, and staff forcibly opened the doors to allow passengers to disembark. The passengers who got off transferred to the next train, and although there was a delay of about 5 minutes, all services are currently operating normally.
