Operation of Hidden Masterclass Online Course Where Anyone Can Teach and Learn
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu Lifelong Learning Center (Director Lee Chang-sik) has been operating the 'Hidden Master Classroom,' a learning space where local hidden experts share their talents and wisdom with neighbors, since 2012.
As the center's closure due to the spread of COVID-19 prolonged, it opened the 'Hidden Master Classroom Online Class' to minimize the lifelong learning gap for residents and provide continuous learning opportunities.
Since May, the 'Hidden Master Classroom Online Class' has been conducting various programs such as 'Easy-to-Learn Recycling Pop-up Book,' 'Beautiful Handwriting POP to Convey Your Heart,' and 'Stay-at-Home! Line Dance' through Zoom, an online video conferencing platform that enables real-time, interactive communication.
A lifelong learning center official said, “Through the 'Hidden Master Classroom Online Class,' we are developing an 'Untact' (non-face-to-face) learning environment so that residents can participate in lifelong learning amid the COVID-19 situation. We will establish a learning operation system that crosses online and offline in preparation for the spread and stabilization of COVID-19, expanding the learning space of the 'Hidden Master Classroom.'”
The newly recruiting 'Hidden Master Classroom Online Class' will be operated in multiple sessions to provide high-quality content and strengthen interactive communication. Applications can be made from July 6 to 20 at 1 p.m. through the Eunpyeong-gu Lifelong Learning Center website.
A total of seven programs, including 'Computer Escape Online Class,' 'Book Art with Picture Books,' and 'Beautiful Handwriting POP to Convey Your Heart,' are currently recruiting students and will be launched if there are more than five participants.
