[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] Actress Hwang Seok-jeong accepted gym owner Yang Chi-seung's suggestion to challenge a fitness competition.

On the 12th, KBS 2TV's 'Boss's Ears Are Donkey's Ears' aired, revealing Yang Chi-seung's 'Boss Life.'

That day, the Muscle House welcomed 21-year veteran actress Hwang Seok-jeong. Hwang Seok-jeong formed a connection with owner Yang through 'Immortal Songs.' She shared, "I went once because I was invited, received personal training from Choi Eun-joo, and came this far. Now, I've been working out for four months." Despite being only four months into fitness, Hwang Seok-jeong, dressed in workout clothes, showed off her toned muscles and healthy body.

She explained her motivation for starting exercise: "I wasn't in good health. I never wanted to be sick again. I started working out to stimulate both my body and mind."

She added with a smile, "Part of the reason I exercise is as a hangover cure. I want to drink better. I plan to enjoy drinking healthily for a long time."

In response, owner Yang said, "You really drink a lot. Yet, you maintain your body well. At first, there were no lines, but now you have curves."

Owner Yang then encouraged Hwang Seok-jeong to enter a fitness competition, but she declined, saying, "I'm exercising to drink better."

Nevertheless, Yang persuaded her, saying, "Hwang Seok-jeong entering the competition will make our gym shine. After a competition ends, we get a flood of inquiries. If Hwang Seok-jeong wins, new members will rush in. This is a sales strategy." Eventually, Hwang Seok-jeong gave in to Yang Chi-seung's temptation, who promised to set her up on a blind date if she only entered the grand prix.

Hwang Seok-jeong accepted the challenge, saying, "I'm not confident, but I'll do my best." However, she also expressed concerns, "The grand prix is out of the question. I can't even imagine wearing that outfit. All my friends and family opposed it. What benefit would it bring me as an actress?"
