On this day's 'Inkigayo,' BLACKPINK's "How You Like That," Sunmi's "Borabit Bam" (Purple Night), and Hwasa's "Maria" competed for the first-place trophy. In the final vote, BLACKPINK won first place with 8,973 votes, marking their sixth music show victory.
BLACKPINK first expressed gratitude to Teddy, who produced the song, and the participating staff, followed by a thank you to their fan club, BLINK.
Additionally, the broadcast featured Red Velvet's first unit, Irene & Seulgi, presenting their gothic-themed title track "Monster." Performances by DIA, Solji, and Chungha also followed.
Notably, the three MCs of 'Inkigayo'?Minhyuk, Naeun, and Jaehyun?performed a special stage singing "Bada" by the 90s group UP. The white-blue concept outfits and song suited the MCs' charms perfectly for the summer season.
SF9 made their comeback stage with "Summer Scent Makes Me Dance," and Golden Child and Lee Jinhyuk also appeared on the broadcast.
