'Knowing Bros' Sunmi uploads photo promoting Park Jin-young's song... 'Unchanged friendship'

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Singer Sunmi shared an anecdote about promoting a song by Park Jin-young. She also showed off their ongoing close friendship, saying they have been in contact even recently.

Sunmi, who appeared on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' broadcast on the 11th, mentioned an experience she had with JYP's Park Jin-young.

On the show, Sunmi posed a question in the 'Guess Me' segment about a time she felt embarrassed while using SNS. She explained that the situation was related to Park Jin-young.

Sunmi said, "When PD Park Jin-young's new song was released, I captured and posted a photo to support and promote it. But suddenly, 500 people unfollowed me." The photo Sunmi referred to showed Park Jin-young resting his chin on his hand and looking straight ahead, which became known as a 'boyfriend pic' and attracted attention online.

Regarding the photo, Sunmi explained, "It was a scene from the music video. I didn't pay much attention to it, but fans tracked and informed me of the number of unfollows. However, this was the mildest among the boyfriend pics."

She added, "Because of this, PD Park Jin-young apologized to me on his own account," revealing that the incident ended as a pleasant episode between the two.

Kim Hee-chul also recommended the 'Sunmi startled gif' recently revealed on a broadcast. In that show, Sunmi laughed after being startled by Park Jin-young acting cute in the past.

Sunmi said, "When I sent this video to PD Park Jin-young, he said, 'Is this how you do me?' and added, 'He saves his own gifs and sends them during conversations.'"

She also shared, "I even met with PD Park Jin-young recently," creating a warm impression of their continued close relationship.
