The man in his 50s departed for Mexico in May and returned to Incheon International Airport on July 11.
At the time of entry, he was asymptomatic, underwent testing at the Haman-gun Public Health Center, and entered home quarantine.
He was confirmed positive on the morning of the 12th and was admitted to Masan Medical Center.
In Gyeongnam, cases of overseas entrants testing positive have continued since patient number 127.
