[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] The 'Baek Father' Gumi Elderly showed confidence in his ramen skills and showcased his entertainment charm.
The edited version of MBC's 'Baek Father: Don't Stop Cooking!' aired on the 11th is a rehabilitation project for 'Yorini' (a term referring to cooking beginners) that the entire nation and all age groups can participate in together.
The third episode of the 'Baek Father Edited Version' began with 'Ramen That Never Fails.' Continuing from last week, the representative Yorini selected was the 'Gumi Elderly' (an elderly person living in Gumi). When asked if there had been any changes over the past two weeks, he replied, "I fried an egg and did the dishes once. I think I have some confidence in those two things." Regarding the ramen dish, he said, "I cook it better than my wife."
On that day, Baek Jong-won taught 'Ramen That Never Fails' that you can taste at snack bars, 'Soft-Boiled Egg Ramen,' '1-Minute Rabokki,' and 'Sesame Oil Egg Ramen.' Various tips about ramen, from measuring water to how to beat eggs, were revealed.
The person who surprised Baek Jong-won the most that day was the 'Gumi Elderly.' Confidently cooking ramen, the Gumi Elderly completed his own Cheongyang chili pepper ramen. He did not properly follow Baek Jong-won's instructions and continued cooking in his own way, causing Baek Jong-won to stop him several times.
After cooking Baek Jong-won's 'Ramen That Never Fails,' he bluntly said, "It tastes worse than what I cooked," showing his entertainment skills.
While cooking sesame oil egg ramen, the Gumi Elderly poured sesame oil generously, leaving Baek Jong-won and Yang Se-hyung speechless and stopping in their tracks. Then, realizing his mistake, the Elderly showed a tongue trick performance.
After all the broadcasts ended, the Elderly cooked ramen as he learned from 'Baek Father' and served it to his wife, creating a warm atmosphere.
