[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Actor Jung Woo-sung acknowledged his outstanding appearance himself.
On the 11th, KBS2's 'I Like Movies' aired an interview with the main actors of the movie 'Steel Rain 2: Summit,' Jung Woo-sung, Kwak Do-won, and Yoo Yeon-seok.
The movie 'Steel Rain 2' deals with a crisis situation on the brink of war that occurs after the leaders of South Korea, North Korea, and the United States are kidnapped on a North Korean nuclear submarine during a North-South-US summit, following a coup in North Korea.
MC Oh Seung-won asked, "For those who watched 'Steel Rain 1,' they must have been curious about how Jung Woo-sung would appear in the second installment," and inquired about Jung Woo-sung's role as the president in this movie.
In response, Jung Woo-sung joked, "I have been reincarnated," and introduced the film by saying, "I play the Korean president, and I wonder if a president can be as handsome as me. It's a 'handsome movie.'"
Yoo Yeon-seok also added, "The moment the president appears, the audience will immediately immerse themselves in the movie." Jung Woo-sung once again showed off his wit, saying, "Thanks to the handsome president."
Then, Jung Woo-sung mentioned the current situation where people are cautious about visiting theaters due to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Jung Woo-sung said, "It's a difficult time, and honestly, it's a bit cautious to ask people to come to the theater and watch the movie," adding, "But if we make movies like this and cannot show them, the film industry itself could collapse."
Yoo Yeon-seok also added, "I hope people come to enjoy it comfortably without feeling too much pressure."
