The Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps is a statutory organization that carries out disaster prevention, response, and recovery activities according to the Natural Disaster Countermeasures Act, with about 150 members active in the Gyeongsan area.
Shin Jaehyun, head of the Gyeongsan Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps, pledged, "Even in the difficult situation caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, we will devote ourselves to various disinfection activities and fulfill our responsibilities as the Gyeongsan Disaster Prevention Corps."
